How to Enter the Laverpa Competition
Entry is simple and completely free. Just complete the form on this page during the competition dates and you’ll be in the draw for a 2-day fully guided fly fishing experience at Laverpa.

We’ll randomly draw a winner on 3 April 2026 and contact them via WhatsApp and email to arrange trip dates, subject to guide and venue availability.
The prize covers guiding only (no accommodation; standard venue rod fees still apply).

2. Bookings Still Welcome
Want to guarantee time on the water regardless of the draw? You can still book normal paid trips as usual — the competition is an extra chance at a free 2-day experience.
Normal bookings are separate from the free entry and will be honoured as usual.
3. Winner Announcement
A winner will be drawn at random on Friday the 3rd of April 2026. We’ll contact you directly via WhatsApp, and agree on dates that suit both your calendar and venue availability.

This free online competition is open to fly anglers and beginners across South Africa who would like a guided Laverpa stillwater experience in Dullstroom. Below are a few quick answers to the most common questions.
Who can enter the Laverpa competition?
The competition is open to South African residents who are 18 years or older. One free entry per person. You don’t need any previous fly-fishing experience – complete beginners are welcome.
What exactly does the prize include?
The prize is for two full days of guided fly fishing at Laverpa with Immersive Angling. Guiding is free. You are responsible for your own accommodation, transport, meals and any venue rod fees or permits required by the fishery.
How is the winner chosen and contacted?
After entries close on 31 March 2026, a winner will be drawn at random from all valid online entries. We’ll contact the winner directly via WhatsApp on or soon after 3 April 2026 to confirm dates, subject to guide and venue availability.
Can I still book a normal guided trip?
Yes. You’re welcome to make a standard paid booking while the competition is running. If you end up winning the competition as well, we’ll treat it as an additional 2-day guided experience, booked on mutually available dates.

You’re welcome to make a normal paid booking while the competition is running. If you don’t win the free 2-day trip, you’ll still have a proper day on the water to look forward to — and from time to time we send small discounts or add-ons to competition entrants.
